Redditors not from America, what is one "American take" on your countries cuisine that you actually enjoy?

Best chimichanga I ever had so far was the Texas Chimichanga from Guadalajara in Indianapolis. So damn good. I dream of that chimichanga. I don't live there anymore, though, but maybe one day I'll have it again.

Ridiculous

I’m imagining a Brit eating Mexican food in Indiana named after Texas. It’s like a Russian nesting doll of food and they’re five layers away from actually eating good food.

Meaning from Mexico, MO, right?

I love all the small US towns you can find where the founders were like "well, I guess this is Prague now".

Surprisingly mine was in Hillsdale, Mi at a place called Saucy Dogs. Shitty little Podunk town with an ultra right wing college. But my God, that fucking chimichanga was banging. They threw brisket in it, fried it up and they had this amazing jalapeno gravy they poured on it. Fuck me. I might have to go back for a taste
