A photographer had such an awesome time at Monday Night Football he forgot to take the photo.

I don't know if it still works the same way, but my dad was a news editor for the local paper back in the 90s. One of the staff photographers contracted with the NFL, they'd assign him to his games and give him flight vouchers. He got paid when someone published his photos.

Theres a lot I don't understand about how the business of it worked, but he wasn't employed by the League. He brought me back some amazing photos though. Lots of Niner stuff because we were in California so he went to a lot of niner games. I wish I still had them, I had some awesome photos of Bryant Young and Merton Hanks.

Anyhow he only did it for a couple of seasons. Flying every weekend on top of his day job for half the year got to be a drag, which is understandable.

That was such an incredible play. No way I could have taken pics of that if I were that close.
