Honestly I didnโt really, thatโs why I was wondering. Asura is just too prime an example of a feat only character to really work. Maybe like, the Guardian of destiny, since they killed a bunch of gods and we dont really get statements about ourself in that game, but thereโs not a whole lot of examples that come to mind

V1 maybe not weak. He tanked a black hole and parried a giant on steroids. Also managed to clear out more than half of Hell in less than 24 hours. And also fast enough to parry bullets

I mean, it also killed the mot powerful angel alive, who was also the one that killed said giant and 2 other similar giants (Leviathan, Sisyphus) with nothing but bullets, coins and construction equipments. So idk if that's to say V1 is actually OP or manmade weapons are OP, or everything in Hell just weak as shit
Also, it wasn't V1 doing the purging of Hell, it only killed the biggest bosses. Gabriel stated the whole machinekind is doing the cleanup after V1

Of course. Nothing lasts forever. So why should humanity be an exception? Society right now is currently crumbling, even if it gets fixed, so much more problems will just appear. In the end, either the sun will explode into big bang or God is actually real and rapture happens.

Kratos never overpowered atlas, he only resisted being squeezed between his fingers, which is most likely not even 1/4 th of his full strength.
He did resist being crushed between kronos' hands when he slammed his hands together full force to crush kratos, but people are often overlooking that this is cronos after centuries of torture and is definitely much weaker than he was in his prime, and just on the logistics side of clapping your hands together, you'll notice that your hands together there's some minimal empty space that Kratos could've hidden in to negate the initial impact.

But Kratos beat Hercules and during his labors Hercules lifted the heavens for Atlas and had a easer time doing it. So unless they completely change the labors that Hercules did then Kratos should at least be relative to Herc and Atlas.

In god of war, atlas is holding the world above hades, not heaven above earth, at most Heracles would've been holding the world, and keep in mind, this heracles is drastically different from the greek myth, because for one they use the roman name, and you'd think he would've brought up the part about holding the world when he complained about not being rewarded for his labors.
And considering how the different worlds work, it may be that atlas was only holding the greek world, which as far as i understand is the size of greece, and maybe its surrounding land masses and seas.
And also, Kratos beating Heracles doesn't necessarily mean he's stronger than him, because every fight ever can be heavily affected by context, weapons being used, both fighters mental state, and random luck.

Now that i think about it, there's also a problem with how hercules would be able to replace atlas in holding the world when Atlas was forced in the position of holding it by being chained up, he can't exactly walk away, not to mention how hercules is obviously too small to take that spot.

Hercules is also the roman version of his name where Heracles is the actual Greek name. God of War was never trying to be that thoughtful with adapting it's myths and I am pretty sure they weren't even sure if they were gonna include Hercules until way later into 3's development.

Atlas was still the strongest titan in terms of strength and was actively trying to kill Kratos when he attempted to squish him so I'll still count that as Kratos being equal or midly under atlas in terms of strength.
As for chronos theres no indication that being forced to carry the mountain of Pandora or crawling throughout the desert weakened his strength. In fact, that would go against what we were told by hephastues? To Kratos in GOD3. which that the only reason he choose chronos anyway was because he was sure no one could best the titan in a fight if they ever tried to claim the box of Pandora.
Also there is a way for you to clap and not have a gap in between, so it's still plausible for Kratos to still overpowered chronos in terms of pure strength.

He overpowered Hades who with Poseidon overpowered Atlas in the past. That was also Kratos who took a dip in the Styx so he was weakened as well

Using only feats makes Doomguy look not only far weaker than before, but actively like a real small fry. Most of his enemies are folding to buckshot from across the room from a sawn-off, and he's not exactly durable and has no natural healing factor so he's constantly in danger to these very mundane demons

Nobody scales to 6D because nobody can articulately describe what a 6D individual would look like or how they would act. What we โknowโ is based on fiction rather than reality. The highest we have โknowledgeโ on is the 4th dimension and even thatโs still all speculations and theories. Anyone who pulls out the, โwell my character is 10D, 100X immortal, omnipotent, reality destroyer,โ isnโt worth debating with.
P.S. I know you didnโt claim anybody was 6D, but I know you know what Iโm talking about when it comes to Kratos, Doomslayer, Virgil, Goku, Superman, and others.

I got a original character who likes to use his bubble/Shield magic to throw around stars, merge stars, crush them down into either a white dwarf or black hole, etc. he even has this giant black whole he's been making for 8,000 years by combining all the other black holes he's made over the 8,000 years.
I also got another one who is my interpretation of Christianity's God. He lives in a large white room with 10 apple Trees. Each Apple is a universe from our perspective and after about a month of time passes from his perspective, (which could be several Millions, billions, or even trillions of years from our perspective). He eats the apple. Obtaining all the power and life force of everyone who lived in that universal apple. From his perspective, he has been doing it for 2,000 years.
The guy who messes with black holes, I think he might be high universal and God is probably 2D or 3D.

I recenply played through god of war 3 and am now replaying god of war 2, and now I'm wondering where people even get those absurd statements about what kratos can allegedly do, cause they're not in those games, at most there's some vague claims about how hope lets you overcome all difficulties, but that tells us nothing about how power of hope actually works.

The feats are on-screen actions no matter the medium. So a guy benching 400 is meaningful, but not a guy saying "I can easily bench over 300" without anything backing it up.

Itโs not really wank so much as it is accurately scaling the stuff described in the book. Lovecraft isnโt meant to be scaled itโs meant to be cosmic horror where the most wild ideas of human power are absolute nothing to the beings above them. I mean yog sothoth is still the size of bigger than infinite space and how a dreamer once fought a monster about 90 light years away from earth but the explosion from their fight illuminated the sky for months.

Yeah, I'm aware of the Spellcard rules, but some characters still had some impressive feats from time to time despite, like Miko destroying Kaguya's corridor in Urban Legend in Limbo, or Remilia flying around the moon in seconds in Silent Sinner in Blue, but both rely a bit on statements.

Even in the newest GoW he's shown killing a god who couldn't be killed, and another who can read minds. Even with those 2 kills alone eliminates Kratos from being the weakest when you use his feats

Yes, and his on-screen feats are killing gods that can control lightning and the sea, which you can see in the video game them actively doing during the boss fights. It's not just talk

But how does that make Kratos weak? He's still able to kill the sea god of his universe no issue. Along with the other gods of his universe.
Is it because of how much the statements about Kratos lift him or something? Even then, I don't see how that would lower him to the point of being considered the weakest gaming character based on only feats.

Quite so. The problem is the term "God" is soo soo loose in fiction. Is hit a god slayer for killing Son goku? Obviously not. Or when a character declares themself god. And when said victims are basically featless mugs who lives and dies on statements.

Take god out of the names, take Poseidon out of the name. It's still some 5000 foot tall (possible exaggeration) creature that can control the sea. Kratos being able to no diff something like that, to me puts him where he doesn't need statements to back him up to not be the weakest gaming character.

Yes,but as someone who had no idea about lore of GoW when I first played all three games,I was super shocked to know that characters in that game are universal+, because frankly I even tho the stuff they do in game is pretty impressive it did not give me a vibe that these characters can destroy planets with easy let alone universe

Joker from Persona gets bumped down to โonlyโ Galaxy level due to Cosmic Flare (since the animation shows that itโs a quasar) and about 300,000,000x FTL from Morningstarโs animation (a beam coming down from a constellation).

It's true it's confusing how there are still people who don't get that rpg attack animations aren't always literal when this has been common knowledge since the 90s. Anyone who actually played p5 would know these attacks arsnr literal because they contradict the plot, yet there's people whose knowledge extends to seeing these animations in a wiki devoid of context and taking them literally.

You are confused why this scene proves Joker isn't that strong. It's not about what happened in the scene. It's about the fact that akechi, who is roughly as strong as joker, is the one who made this plan under the beleif that it's plausibly enough to take down someone on this level, and nothing in game suggests he was making a wild misjudgement. Even if he is slightly underestimating him, you can't take the central scene of a game that the whole thing revolves around and assume it is non indicative without reason.
