i had a co worker who was a whole ass rebel growing up, always againt the grain total punk rocker type of guy. now that hes in his 40s nearing 50s and a family, he's a die hard trumper.

always blew my mind how he still claims to be a punk rocker but wants trump to be his daddy.

I was fortunate to be part of the punk scene in Deep Ellum TX (the "bad part" of downtown Dallas) in the late 90's / early 00's when skinheads tried to take it over. Literal fights in the streets against Nazi punks trying to take over our spots. Showing up to shows, where we felt safe, only to cause trouble and fight.

Good friend of mine got stabbed outside the Gypsy Tea Room by some Nazi piece of shit.

Fuck Nazi punks.

Grew up in the mid-80s West Texas scene and skinheads were doing that same shit then too. Chasing them down the street to beat their asses became tradition.

Moved to Phoenix in the early 90s and found the same exact shit.

As an aside I always felt this is the way the prequels should have gone. It’s kinda what they did but it was poorly executed. So anakin has to awkwardly say something about the Jedi being evil from their perspective. Lame
