Honestly this would been an easy solution to flip the switch, just like...

Nah, it's only about the persona. If it's an idolized person it doesn't matter if he's a convicted rapist, pedophile murder, people will do mental olympics to justify their affection. If it's a person they hate (were told to hate..) they won't care if that person is Jesus Christ himself, they will KNOW FOR A FACT that all of his good deeds were of selfish and satanic reasons..

Trump needed a golf cart to cross a bridge that other world leaders were walking across. He had trouble walking down a slight incline. He is so out of shape an old frail guy like Biden could beat the shit out of him.

My friend, this is not a hill you should be fighting on. Biden and Trump are nearly the same age and any criticism about Biden being a sundowning old dotard can be easily applied to Trump, who’s given ample recorded evidence that he’s in cognitive decline.

The difference is, Democratic supporters know Joe’s old as dirt and aren’t enthused about it. But because of our screwed up system he’s the only choice available to prevent the dismantling of democracy that Trump has promised.

No, but walking into a dressing room with underage girls and saying “relax girls, I’ve seen it all before”, or telling Michael Cohen you want to bang his 16 year old daughter are pretty bad. Oh and his ex-wife claiming he raped her, plus the countless accusations of sexual assault, the Epstein ties, yeah this could go on for a while.

And unless you’re trying to blow the hair sniffing thing out of proportion, I have no idea where you’re getting your child molester take from.

My only issue with that scene is with every scenes like that. If you are already pushed over the edge then just finish the job. There's no point in not killing that cunt when your reputation is already zero'd

I can't help but notice that Singer said that Starlight wiped out his Republican votes, implying that liberals wouldn't be too affected by it.

Realistically, would that be the case? There's no lost love between liberal voters and far-right talking heads like Firecracker, and Annie's motives were also clearly advertised. Sounds like this would escalate the conflict by getting both sides more riled up.

I don't buy that it would ruin her reputation tbh. In the real world (and in the world of the show) her getting an abortion would strengthen her fanbase (as of S4) and they would fully be willing to allow her leeway for blowing up on someone who invaded their privacy to such an extent. The only people who would be upset about it are people who already don't support Starlight.

At the end of the day these people are a vast minority and are only empowered by our political systems. Any unreciprocated 'consequences' outside of that are not believable, IMO. The bill failing? Sure -- though a vast majority of Americans would be disgusted that such an unrelated event would affect someone's vote on supe involvement in policing/military/etc. (a Supe beating the shit out of someone extrajudicially should STRENGTHEN support for the bill).
