Antony Starr is so goddamn terrifying. Those scenes with Frank and Marty and the way he reverts into this unhinge little boy, like a kid excited to play with his toys….my god, it creeped me the fuck out

I think a lot of people aren't thrilled that we have two 80-somethings running for president.

But I'm also irked that so many big movies feature actors who haven't been good in 20+ years.

For instance, I tried to watch The Irishman, and it was just straight up depressing watching DeNiro waddle around like a senior citizen.

Anthony Starr is great, but there's got to be another ten guys like him who aren't getting their break because OG actors just keep getting work.

Oh! I didn't mean it like that.

I meant "I'd love to see MORE young actors get their break."

Basically, TV and movies would be better if they didn't keep leaning on actors in their 60s, 70s and even 80s.

I hadn't heard of Starr until I watched the Boys. He was probably just getting his break after years of trying.

Sometimes there are actors that play a a villain and I may think yeah they could potentially be pretty terrible in real life after seeing them on a talkshow or something like that. But not Anthony. He looks like he’s genuinely one of the nicest people on Earth and he’s so fucking evil in the show. There is not an ounce of evil in Anthony’s bones, but I believe Homelander it’s evil AF on the show. That’s not the case for all villains.

To be completely honest I still get drunk every other week or so and I’m 29.

Not once have I ever assaulted someone, let alone hit them with glass. Nor have I ever tried to pull the ‘dont’t you know who I am?’ card.

Being drunk will most likely make you be more of who you actually are, not less of who you are.

Reddit and worshipping random celebrities as the peak of human virtue is always hilarious to me. Especially on a sub about a show which uses this concept as it’s main plot device.

“Omg he’s just so happy and smiley in the interviews I’ve seen him in and all his social media posts”

Reminds me of how people used to worship the rock before he started getting called out.

I'm so happy this show was made for that very reason. Even if you can't change people's minds about how they act, you can at least call their actions out for the world to see.
