Waiting for people to comment that Artists should stay out of politics.

...until one of them endorses their cult leader.

I support Kamala being in the office. I support artists expressing their political views. But I don't blame anyone who says "why would you listen to a music artist to make a decision on who you vote for?". The only person you should listen to when you decide who to vote for is the candidate themselves. What are they doing. What they say their policies are. What their political history and affiliations are. What are their mannerisms when they say what they say.

Because hear me out, a lot of people are stupidly politically apathetic and only know politics when it inconveniences them. Streamers, concert goers, you name it there's a huge parcel there who just is not into none of this because they never had to. So sometimes it does take their favorite artist, tv channel or streamer for them to start getting involved. Crazy, right? Sadly it's the world we live in. You're not wrong, you're just operating on an unrealistic ideal scenario where most people are politically engaged
