The state of Missouri has executed Marcellus Williams, despite the prosecution asking for a stay due to him potentially being innocent.

I honestly don’t know why people think there was even a chance that the governor was going to give a stay of execution to a gasp Black person. As I mentioned in another thread; Missouri is racist shit hole that makes many other states in the Deep South green with envy. They’ve never tried to hide who they are and are probably proud that they executed him. He was found guilty by a jury of his ‘peers’ after all; empirical evidence that would establish his actual innocence is just ‘woke’ elitist leftist hogwash to these people.

Exactly.

The moment I heard about this story yesterday, I knew this innocent man was going to die. Not because of bias, but because of pattern recognition.

This is disgusting, inhumane, and racist. But it's also 100% unsurprising and even banal at this point.

People need to stop acting so damn shocked when these pieces of garbage have repeatedly told and shown us who they are.
